Advancing intelligent machines that sense, reason, and act — from adaptive industrial robots to collaborative systems and autonomous swarms operating in complex real-world environments.
About the Division
The Robotics Research division at Presear Softwares investigates how AI can make physical systems truly autonomous — capable of perceiving their environment, making decisions under uncertainty, and executing complex tasks without constant human supervision. Our research spans the full stack from perception and planning to actuation and safety.
We work across three primary paradigms: single-robot autonomy, human-robot teaming, and multi-agent swarms. In each, we apply deep reinforcement learning, sim-to-real transfer, and physics-informed models to bridge the gap between controlled experiments and messy real-world deployment — including industrial floors, outdoor environments, and urban infrastructure.
Our research is deeply applied: we co-develop with industry partners in manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, and defence to ensure our advances reach production within meaningful timescales. Open-source toolkits, joint publications, and pilot deployments are central to how we create and share impact.
Research Focus
Six interconnected areas where Presear's Robotics Research division is advancing the state of the art in autonomous and intelligent machines.
Developing robots that can learn, plan, and act in unstructured environments — combining reinforcement learning, model-based planning, and sim-to-real transfer to achieve reliable autonomy beyond the lab.
Researching the cognitive, perceptual, and social dimensions of human-robot teaming — from intent prediction and natural communication to ergonomic co-manipulation in shared workspaces.
Designing decentralised coordination algorithms that enable large fleets of robots to accomplish complex tasks — search, construction, environmental monitoring — through emergent collective intelligence.
Advancing perception-to-action pipelines that fuse vision, lidar, tactile, and proprioceptive signals into real-time control policies robust to sensor noise, partial observability, and adversarial conditions.
Translating robotics research into manufacturable, deployable solutions for Industry 4.0 — flexible assembly cells, AI-guided quality inspection, predictive maintenance, and adaptive supply chain robotics.
We invite manufacturers, research labs, and government agencies to co-develop, test, and deploy next-generation robotics solutions with us.
Presear Robotics Research collaborates with industry partners to design, pilot, and scale AI-driven autonomous systems — from proof-of-concept to production deployment.
